It is good to be back and updating my outdated blog. It’s been a while that nothing was on my blog. Preparing for my wedding, working, family, traveling and blah blah blah...never ending..

Anyway, the new Proton Exora was unleashed to public. To me, it is a boring design. Not that I don’t want to support our national car but the car is exactly look like grand livina from the side view. We need to give Proton some credit because they been trying very hard to come out with a car in the MPV segment.

The picture is from Proton website. Just go to http://www.proton.com.my/ and you will find more details of the car. RM70K+ for a local made car is way expensive. Let’s us see how it able to compete with the MPV range vehicle market.

Man Utd won the Champion League.......yahooo....the score was 6-5 penalties after the score tied at 1 to 1....although it was not really a good match for MU...the most important thing...MU won...hahaha...look at the Chelsea players....dejected...cried...hahaha...although Ronaldo missed a penalty...still the result belong to MU....hope to see more good players in MU next season...but this season was a good season like 1999 when MU won both league and European trophy...good job MU...good job Ferguson...and the rest of the players....Well done....

Came back from Bonn, Germany

I went to Bonn, Germany last Saturday (10th May) and was there until 19th May...It was working trip...went there for the UN Meeting on the Biodiversity...about work...I think don't think want to elaborate...boring stuff....but it was a new experience for me to meet many people from different countries....

Well...the German's girls???...most of them are beautiful...in the context of comparing with the Asians....

I didn't really have a good walk around Bonn....meetings until late and even 3.30am in the morning....damn tired....but I got to travel to Brussels.....thanks to my cousin and family...they brought me to Belgium...and really appreciate it.....it was fun...and really know abit of their culture in Germany and Belgium....

On the plane...it was like king treatment...I'm on business class and they know your name...trust me...they will keep on calling your name whenever they want to ask you something....Dr. ..can I....Dr. ...would you like....etc....damn...really felt awkward as people beside me also ask me whether I'm really a doctor...hahahaha...I told him...I'm a Phd holder...the guy was surprised and said...very young...don't know whether it's compliment or insult...well..I take it as a compliment....

Slept for 11 hours and 30 mins on the flight....total...almost a day for two way trip....crazy...and tired...but it was a good experience for me....

It's time to change???..well...The Blue party lost massive majority in the election...I think there is a message for the party..hope that everything will be well and stable in the country...let's us hope for the best...

It' been a hectic week for candidates for the coming election....i think tomorrow will be the D-day for them...it's the day everything will come to reality....for 4 years the current government administered the country....tomorrow will be the decision day for all Malaysians....hope everything will be smooth and peaceful...what I observed from my office is that everyone in a good mood for the election and they all ready to go back their respective kampungs...I guess will be massive traffic jam on the highways up north, south and east....so...Malaysians....Happy Voting!!!...

Studying time for me .....it's been weeks that i didn't update my blog...busy to study for stupid exam...promotion exam...anyway....Chinese New Year was just another day for me...nothing special but on the eve...quite happy as the whole family and my cousin gathered around and take our reunion dinner...my mom prepared the thing this year as she said it's not really exciting to eat outside...as usual...she prepared wonderful meals for all of us....the wonderful yee sang...needless to say more as I'm sure most of the Chinese (KL lang... :) ) like yee sang...

1st day...the usual thing...I drove my parents and brother around to all my relatives in KL....visiting and getting ang pow....as usual...questions like "When you getting marry?", "this year will be your last year of giving ang pow ah?", "next year give ang pow ah?"...and others...don't have to tell you all how to avoid those questions....you all will know how...

2nd. day....went to my mom's hometown....again..same scenario ....actually getting uneasy of getting ang pow from them...but what to do...they give...I take...hahahahaha

3rd day...went to ipoh....my girlfriend's hometown...visiting her parents....talk and dine with them....then the next thing...I drove back to KL the same day....damn tiring..it was 3 1/2 hours journey for a 2+ hours trip....crazy....heavy traffic volume...now I know why people complain of traffic jam when they "balik kampung".....for me...it's just a new experience...the last time i was in traffic jam was 7 years ago...went to Penang with my ex-coursemates for the "Penang Bridge Marathon"....i think it was school holiday....damn....jammed on the highway...that time...my ex-coursemate driving...so hehehe...I don't have to be so tension....

4th day....just resting at home...tired of the trip back from Ipoh mah....

5th. day....damn...went to work...but training at SIRIM on project management course by MIM...well..it's a good course as I learn something not taught in the university....I was in biotech programme....so no project management module...good course...try surf to MIM website...they provide good training....the trainer also very knowledgeable...

ohhh....I got to do paperwork for my boss at home (at night)....alot you know...got dateline somemore....working from home was not my option ...but what to do....working in civil service is not as bed of roses....you got to work endlessly...no time limit...

6th day...also at SIRIM....training...

from wednesday to friday....hehehehe...I was on-leave....come on...it's CNY...I should be on holiday...my last year annual leave also about 26 days left....didn't use as too busy...

today...got family gathering (with my relatives) at my cousin's house at BU...

I was busy this few months and unable to update my blog....I guess I need to rest and have some time for some leisures stuff....even my new MacBook was left inside the bag....Anyway....Happy Wilayah...as people used to wish those working in Federal Territory (Wilayah Persekutuan)...a day to rest ourselves...hehehe...

Ok..just to summarized what I did these few months...I was tied down by some work that not really related to my portfolio...my big boss asked me to help out...really fed-up but that's life..

my immediate boss told last few days...that the big boss said that she (my immediate boss) don't need any additional staff as she got me...(a PhD holder) and able to do things....KNS...I'm a human...I got a PhD doesn't mean I'm a superhuman...now I know why so many head of units in my division kept on asking me to do work for them...they are using me as their staffs are inefficient...Bullshit...if like that...just hire me and fire the rest....one more thing is that my big boss got mentioned to me...'Everyone is replaceable'...I agreed...but I would counter-back his statement...'but that everyone might not as efficient as another person'....hahahaha....but I don't dare...you know lar...big boss...we small fry..better keep our mouth shut...

Ok la...I need to study for my exam...I'll post my blog when I'm free....

It's Christmas....

hi!!!!....I got christmas atmosphere around me.....i got a sony vaio laptop for my gf...and as she knows that i love mac so much...she gave me a macbook....wahhhhhh!!!!...cool right???..it is the damn best gift i ever received in my life.....thanks babe...as we went shopping in berjaya times square and low yat plaza....actually we did spent alot of $$$....ohhh...forgot to mention...I was on leave since 19/12 till 26/12....coz both of us have a lot of annual leave...she finished hers...but i still got 29 days....got to bring forward to next year...and the actual christmas day.... we really didn't go anywhere except that we got to attend my cousin's wedding dinner that night in Marco Polo Restaurant....of coz everyone asking me the date....when this when that...blah blah blah...I told them will be soon...even I got a cousin prepare to help me....really appreciate her so much....I hope to get more advice from my friends soon...hehehehe...Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

I got another convo this year....actually for my diploma in public management....under the diplomatic and administration service compulsory's course....6 months of hardship (physically and mentally) and exams....finally the whole batch graduated with pride...in fact...myself...I got the honour to be among the excellent achiever....even I was awarded with top 3 best development project for a village...cool right???...it was never in my mind to be among the top achiever as i was always try to be low profile....but today is one of the best day for me...hehehehe...

I was one of the officer working at the dinner for the Angkasawan success yesterday...It was a memorable moment for all the people in Malaysia...especially Malaysians....watching the countdown from the dinner with about 2000 people...which include VVIPs, distinguished guests and government officers...It was a tiring day for me as I was assigned as Liaison Officer for a VVIP...never thought of it was damn tiring as I was assigned to be officer-in-charge for the ministry's exhibition at the same place early this year for so many days....

anyway...The dream for Malaysia came true at 9.22pm when the rocket, Soyuz TMA-11 blasted off and everyone watch it everywhere and at KLCC, PM and DPM were watching on the stage excitingly...at the end of the function, my colleagues and I took the opportunity to know the famous retired American astronaut Captain Robert “Hoot” Gibson....very friendly person...

Came back from Vietnam...

As mentioned in my previous post...I went to Vietnam...to be precise..Hanoi City..last week...it was a moment of being treated like VIP from KLIA right up to Hanoi...touched down in Hanoi and was ushered out from the plane by MAS officer and then led me to the Express lane of immigration...wah lau...VIP....really VIP...I spent about 4 days there...don't want to talk about working...it's just a boring topic...anyway...people driving in Vietnam like no rules and regulation on the road..they can just beat the traffic light and having drive in the one way street...damn scary for me as I got to cross the road while shopping for souvenirs..damn scary...

At the hotel...they have a pub called Nutz...hahahaha...imagine it...whose nutz izzit??..hahaha...and found the exit of the hotel also got a very nice plaque...The weather there...windy and cold in the evening..but morning..hot like hell...and it was hazy there...damn polluted air...really polluted...but able to survived for 4 days..hehehe...food there...biasa saja...just go to any vietnamese restaurant...and it will be much much better than the food in Vietnam...no kidding..really disappointing experience on food for me...but when I was heading to meetings in Hanoi...passing alot of shops and hawker stalls...take my words...all food are non-halal...pork are the main delicacy of vietnamese people...crazy...they hang the whole leg of the pig at the stall...there is one stall just beside the lake near to the hotel I was staying...the lake also full of fishes...very seldom we able to see fishes in the lake in Malaysia...it's alot...damn alot...

If you intend to shop in some tourist spots...everything are expensive...everything in US Dollar$$$$....I rather shop in KL than in Hanoi...just not worth it...but the foot massage I received was cheap...USD5 for 75 minutes treatment...really relaxing..of coz an officer brought me there...how can I know how to walk around in a unknown place...

Anyway...It was a interesting experience for me to go to a place that are developing very fast and I don't have to pay a single cent for the whole trip....hehehehe....but I don't get to visit places and just attending meetings...maybe next time I got to travel to a 1st world country...and walk around...hehehehehe....

The whole day at PICC...meeting about the NCER (Northern Corridor Economic Region)...I can now fully understand about the development in the northern region...I guess those people from the north must be waiting for the development long long time....Mr. Suker (Sim)...it's time for your state to be develop...hahahaha...I can't expose the details...but I can said that people in the north region going to be very happy with the infrastructures as mentioned by the PM...wait for it to be complete by year 2027.......

Two days of examination since Monday.....I become a zombie without enough sleep...Imagine it like studying for STPM last minute...oh man...it was torturing feeling ...not even the feeling that I felt when I went for my PhD viva...crazy feeling...but it's a competency kind of measurement for government officer....Today I read the newspaper that the Deputy PM mentioned that the civil service should do away the seniority kind of promotion...yes..I agree with him...we are moving forward in this new century...50 years of independence...

Speaking of seniority...I got a blardy bitch 1 year senior than me kind of officer...she don't do and know anything at all in the office and pretend to able to do work in front of bosses...and those bosses love her...oh my gosh!!!...she like to show her power as she is 1 year more senior than me...man..I wish that what our Deputy PM said come true...I will be higher than her as I got expertise and qualification to overtake her...I might be her boss..u know..hehehehe..but maybe in my dream la...hahaha...just wanna "lepas" my anger...hahahaha...ok...got to sleep already...too tired...

Well...I took leave since Monday till Thursday...super 4 days..."keng lei"....I took it becoz of studying at home...actually not really can concentrate at home since office people kept on calling me...emailing me...so sort of working from home....damn....I thought I can study at home...On the good day of the nation....MERDEKA!!...MERDEKA!!!..MERDEKA!!!..31 August ...everyone I thought will be at home...enjoying the holiday...gosh...I went to MidValley...to buy books for my exam...guess what??...met my friend there...(coursemate) ...he was still the same old Kean Hin...hehehe...sorry...didn't meant to say old...but good to hear from him that he is doing well teaching in a Chinese school in Old Klang Road....for me...I updated him that I was doing like way too shit busy with work...We chatted a while...then I rushed back home to study....If I got time, I would spend some time with him and chat more...but I got to concentrate on something more important...maybe next time...we can gather all the coursemates (of coz not for wedding dinner only lah)....and we eat at some cozy place....How about that guys???!!!!...hehehe...just a thought only...ok...got to go back to my books....Adios, Amigos!!!...

Malaysian International Fireworks Competition (MIFC) 25 August 2007

Got to rush to Cyberjaya to view the Fireworks Competition...that day was the Italy team to showcase their masterpiece....i brought along my gf, bro and parents to the show...after dinner..around 8.00pm...we drove to Cyberjaya...wahh lau...on the way..so many cars already...but most of it entering Putrajaya...when we reached at the Sekolah Seri Puteri, Cyberjaya area...there were cars parking along the road...luckily i got a nice spot...parked my car and got a nice spot to put my tripod...my parents also got a nice spot to view the fireworks...it's once in a life time to view that kind of fireworks in Malaysia....so get ready with the cameras with my bro...and waited about an hour for the show to start....wahhh at sharp 10.00pm...the show started...it was really wonderful display as you won't see it in KLCC on any occassion or what so ever....really fantastic show...even everyone there clapped their hand..and saying "wooo"..."ahhh"...it was a good experience for all us.... but on the return trip to Kajang....stucked in traffic jam....about an hour only we able to reached home...luckily we stay in Kajang coz most of the cars were heading towards the LDP toll....I wonder what time they reach their home...really an once in a lifetime kind of experience on the road too.....hahahaha...enjoy some of the pictures...try to view the video too...it's the finale of the show that night...it's good for the campaign of Visit Malaysia 2007 but I think most of the people going there were Malaysian...at least we can see the family kind of outing there...so bring your family or love ones to the show....it's going to end on the coming 2 September 2007....don't miss it...adios...

UPM Convocation 25 August 2007

It's a blardy downpour morning...woke up around 6am and preparing myself....the whole family practically also woke up early...then i drove the whole family to UPM and reached there around 7.48am..imagine that with a lot of people lining up without me...luckily they ushered me to the line...there I met my friend, Lisa (senior)...well...the usual convocation program...people blah-blah and blah...nothing special except that this is the first time I received the scroll from the His Royal Highness Sultan of Selangor...after the convo...about 12.30pm...came out..saw my coursemate (Mun Wai).....of she don't know that I'm having the same convo with her husband...so I took a pic of her with me as don't think will get a chance to meet up a coursemate...hehehe... some of the photos with family and gf, photos with my coursemate (Mun Wai) and photo with Lisa...

Anyway...It's nothing special about this convocation as i got to do revision for my upcoming PTK examination...the family just went out to have lunch at MINES after the photo-taking at the studio in Sri Serdang...it's quite expensive nowaday...Hey Sim...that plump lady working at the photo shop still remember us including lisa...she sent regards...last time we used to develop our photos there....fuuuyooohhh...almost about 4 years didn't go there already....

My friend(senior) in her blog mentioned about the convocation this coming 25th.....I'll be in the convocation too...at least I got 2 people I know will be together with me in the convocation as like in my MSc. convocation last time...

As for me...the PhD doesn't really show any significant to me as I'm now in R&D management and not directly involve in R&D... it's just carry a new title only ....Dr. C here...Dr. C there....well...i'm not used to it when people address me in the office, meetings, conference,....etc....i'm not happy as i can't do R&D work...my passion is still R&D...well...I got to admit...I really envy all my friends doing R&D....hope you guys contribute to the biotech world....BIOTECH2000....hidup BIOTECH 2000......

First time I went to KL Hilton...i'm impressed by the service ...the structure of the building...really good for a 5 stars hotel....the picture on the right is the view from 6th floor of the hotel...I was there for a 2 days conference...blah blah blah...conference about modern biotech...i got to meet my friend who work in a private university...lecturer...good for him...of coz nice to meet him there as lost contact with him....a few juniors also there..but I think they forgot who am I already...never mind..what I'm trying to say...everywhere I go...surely will meet people that I know...or people know me...it's really a small working world....hope to see more coursemates in the future conference or meetings...hehehe.

Went to Berjaya Times Square to park my car there....it's convenient to park there but expensive la...now the rate already increased and it's not that economical to park there....but again...convenient...hehehehe...anyway...we went there as my gf got an appointment at Sg. Wang..while for me..I sold my PDA phone in exchange for a new one...as the old one got problem already...and fell down so many times...when I asked for the trade in price...RM400...immediately i said...good...so..after 2.5 years with my O2 Mini XDA II....now...I changed to HTC Touch...hehehe...nice and thin PDA phone....but that's not the thing I wanted to talk about...it's the old building that I would like to talk about...

When we went to Uncle Duck's Restaurant...inside BTS....i saw old buildings surrounding BTS...I was brought up in KL...i was in Sg. Wang every sunday as I went to Yamaha Music School in Sg. Wang (used to be there before shifted to Jalan Dang Wangi)...my parents brought me to Sg. Wang and I got to see Leslie Cheung when he came to KL more than 20 years ago...even I got his signature till now..hehehe...I really miss the old KL...the new look of KL make me feel old...OLD!!!!!....

It's a normal topic for those who start to learn how to drive....but for those have been driving for years...including those old folks....I think they need to go back to the learning school....this morning...just in front of my housing area....a malay pakcik....suddenly drive even though it is red light for him...come on... got a few cars horned him but he kept on driving macam his ancestor's owned road...they never learn right??...this is the mentality of first class infrastructure but 3rd class people....one of the example....

Then while on the way to office....wahhh lauuuu.......lady drive macam 120km/h on a kancil....i think she can fly to the moon if something happen...hahahaha....well...i think our society becoming more advanced but mentality still macam orang kampung....sometimes...just fed-up with people driving dangerously....I think more effort to educate and promote road safety by the NGOs and government...even the private sectors should also carry out workshop for their staffs...

well...maybe it's not the right time yet as our society is not 1st class mentality yet...aiyahhhhhhhh :( how to promote VMY2007 when the tourists come to our country and find out that all of the people drive like F1 and Nascar....

Today....as usual...I got to go for workshop on certain government policy.....but I was waiting for bank approval for my house loan....early morning already calling the banker to ask for the status....as usual...they said they will check on it...by the time around 5pm...no news...then I called up the guy and he said...approved....whoooaaahhhh....at last...that the word I'd been waiting from him....so...tomorrow got to sign the documents with the bank.....

As my gf not satisfy of didn't celebrate my birthday properly...she requested that we go for a movie and a nice dinner....she went to book Transformers at Cineleisure near Curve last Wednesday...ohhh...babe...thanks ...really appreciate it....anyway...back to the story....the movie...good...but I would give it an A- rating...as the fighting scene was too short...hope that more of it...or another sequel coming right up....almost 3 hours in the cinema...everyone seems excited as this is the first time they able to see Transformers...their childhood cartoon come to life....well...kids living in the 70 and 80s know what am I talking about...my advice...go watch the movie....rated the best movie of the year by certain critics.....

then we went to Tony Roma's....well...it's just inside Cineleisure...man...the price for each dishes are damn expensive....almost the same as Chilis' and Friday's ....trust me....damn expensive for me...but my gf insisted that we have our dinner there...she said she is paying...so ...I just follow the flow....birthday boy mah...hahahaha....but if you all interested to try something different...try Tony Roma's ....the food quality there ....hmmm...better than Chilis' and Friday's....trust me...you won't regret about it...ok la...I'm tired already...got to sleep early and tomorrow is working day...adios....from the birthday boy.... :)

Another friend getting married...Actually...it's her wedding dinner only...she registered with her husband few years back...now only she make the wedding dinner for close friends and family....Saw a few friends that I have lost contact for so long....and that's the place where we can gather and chat....I think it's difficult to come out like old times during university again...this is the occasion we can meet each other and exchange vows....opsss...not vows...but exchange words...hahahaha....again...Congratulation Mei Ying....

My friend and I got lost as we thought Tai Thong was juz opposite of IOI Mall...we went to Hei Loi Thang Restaurant and we went up and down of the restaurant becoz we couldn't find the room of the dinner....after 15 minutes of up and down....we noticed that we went to the wrong restaurant...how embrassing....well....that's the thing I would remember for a long time ...I think my friend too...hahahaha...

Today...I just booked a double storey house near my bro's house....in Prima Saujana....maybe you guys never heard of this place...It's near to Tesco Kajang....The house I booked is 25'x70'...huge enough for a single guy...but actually...I was attracted with the design and space...anyway...that's not the thing I wanted to tell....the thing is...I'd been looking for house for years...always end up calculating this and that....at the end...didn't buy and property price goes up.....damn....this time...I think a few times...discussed with my parents and gf.....and when the time I went there with them....including my bros....we all made up our mind to buy the house....RM328K....expensive???...well..yeah la....but what to do...nice design and space...that's the price we need to pay la...now waiting for the approval from bank....don't ask me the monthly installment...those got property know roughly how much I need to pay...do the math man...well...at least I got one mission accomplished...hehehe...a few more to go......nice date also 07/07/07 .....will remember the date although not my marriage date la...hahahaha

well...i got older 1 year...4th July...coincidence it is Independent day for US....nothing much to said except my gf came to Kajang to celebrate my birthday ...as i wanted...a simple cake is enough.....so we went to Tesco Kajang to get the cake and she chosen the fruit cake which i love very much....so we went back home and waiting for dinner.....as we were having dinner ....my dad came back home with another cake...well..of coz I was so surprised that my dad still remember....thanks dad....but...the truth...I over 30 years oredi....and of coz I felt old...but all the people whom i met...they said that I'm young with a PhD....so most of them don't believe it that I got a PhD....man...at one point..i felt insulted...but another point...felt happy also becoz they said that I'm young ...hahahaha...anyway....Happy Birthday to me....Thanks to all my friends that wished me....Thanks you all....

Monday Morning Jam in KL!!!!!

Well...Monday morning...been quite sometime that I didn't drive in KL weekdays...thought going to KL around 6.30am....darn....after passing the 50 cents toll near Taman Tasik Permaisuri...jammed...ohhh my goodness...the jam streched from the toll to somewhere near Midvalley I think....I was stucked on the road although I was going turn left to Sg. Besi road....stucked there for 1/2 hour...I think you all will able to imagine it...ok...reached to Park Royal Hotel before 8am...everything cool...but...right after the function ended....came out to Jln Hang Tuah....jammed again...whoooahhh...come on...juz 4.30pm only...the jam from Jln Hang Tuah right up to the bridge above Bulatan Loke Yew...and do you know what causes it???...a lorry with a flat tyre.....ohhh man...juz can't live without jam in KL....I hope tomorrow would be better....anyway...met ex-coursemate in the workshop...quite nice to see someone you know in university....adios...

Sutera Harbour Hotel....in Sabah...VMY2007

well...juz came back from Sabah yesterday...I was staying at Sutera Harbour Hotel...one word...FANTASTIC!!!....It was really new experience for me...the last time I was in Sabah...I stayed in Promenade....Sutera Harbour change my perception of holidaying in Sabah....Anyway..I was in Sabah meeting for 3 days....from Friday till Sunday...About meeting...Don't want to talk about it...coz boring...but about the scenery in the hotel...whhoooooaahhhh.....all my friends...if you got chance...go to this hotel...damn beautiful...I think you wouldn't go out from the vicinity of the hotel as the facilities there are sufficient for a nice holiday....I didn't got the chance to travel to the nearest island ....coz raining season....it will be another time I go there again...hehehehe....some of the pictures to share....(got Mount Kinabalu partly covered by mist or cloud).......anyway...becoz of me alone walking in the hotel...I got to relied on auto timer to capture my picture....conjuction with the Visit Malaysia 2007....I strongly recommend everyone to go to Sabah as some part of the state still remain unpolluted....family or couple or even individuals should enjoy being in one of the enchanted state in Malaysia...Malaysia Truly Asia...hehehehe....Back to KL....got to go workshop in Park Royal Hotel tomorrow...

The saturday was really almost a half day outing....went to Kelana Jaya to pick my gf...then off we go to Berjaya Times Square (BTS)....thought of window shopping around....what the hell...a lot of people gathered at the entrance...parking also difficult to find...luckily....got a good spot in front of the escalator...To amaze to us...a gathering on some superstars/drama stars from taiwan...well...we are not interested....but another show is an australia team...dancing team...kids...whooooaaahhhh...amazed...really amazing...they can dance at so young age....there is a video showing one boy really can dance (will be uploaded next time)....after watching those interesting...and we shopped and makan .......finally...we made up our mind to travel to Taman Tasik Titiwangsa...to see the Eye on Malaysia...it was spectacular...all of the Malaysians should go there...interesting....got laser show somemore....it was a memorable night for me and my gf....hehehehe....such a romantic environment ...

PUTRAJAYA 21 Mei — Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi hari ini mengumumkan kenaikan gaji bagi 1.02 juta kakitangan awam sehingga 35 peratus berkuatkuasa 1 Julai ini. Kerajaan juga menaikkan kadar bantuan sara hidup atau COLA sebanyak 100 peratus. Gaji pokok Kumpulan Sokongan 2 (iaitu Gred 1 hingga 16) dinaikkan 35 peratus, Kumpulan Sokongan 1 (iaitu dari Gred 17 hingga 40) dinaikkan 25 peratus, Kumpulan Pengurusan dan Profesional dinaikkan 15 peratus, dan Kumpulan Pengurusan Tertinggi dinaikkan 7.5 peratus.

I was on duty in Parliament...about parliament work...can't disclose...you all know la...secret...anyway...the Parliament session finished at around 7.40pm...so with my tired and exhausted body...I drive back to office to punch out....amazingly...started to jammed from Istana till Desa Petaling...come on...you got the SMART tunnel but still jam....then only I found out it's not the SMART's fault...it's the Malaysian drivers...damn....becoz of a small accident....we got to jammed for more than 1/2 hour in a 2.1 km stretch...everybody busy looking at the cars...come on....drive your car and if you wanna look....please stop your car at the side and help those people...if not...keep driving...this is to all Malaysian DRIVERS!!!!...DRIVE YOUR CAR!!!!

Going out with gf to KLCC...nothing much to said...I'd captured a few shots on the KLCC area...It was like damn....A LOT OF PEOPLE!!!!!...I wonder...why!!!!....well...ISETAN having their Sales...Parkson got sales.....but...man..everything also expensive...we managed to bought a pair of T-shirts...PDI la...cheap stuff...We went to KLCC also becoz of my gf's friends..they were there for the sales...so...of coz I got to drive my gf there la...

then we rushed back to Kajang to have dinner with family...food ok...but it was like we were waiting for the food to arrive....1/2 hour...and the other table...got their food...juz in 10 minutes...and imagine that...we were the one arrived 20 minutes earlier than them...terrible service...look at the people also like "gangster family"...well...we didn't complain looking at the style of the family...everyone smoking like nobody business...it was a dinner that my mom no need to cook la...hahaha...becoz of Mother's Day...she got one day holiday ....hahahaha...to every mother in the world...Happy Mother's Day....

Well....it's an occasion where Labour Day and Wesak Day fall on the same day...but Singapore celebrate Wesak Day at the end of this month...hmmm...anyway...I went to 1U to watch Spidey 3 and I was thinking to go there early...fuuuuyoooo...long queue waiting for us when we reached there...It was damn long..at GSC...then we walked to TGV...also long..but not that long la..so we got to ticket .... :( almost at the front row...gila...that was madness in the cinema too...no power around the time we want to get in....it was like dramatic scene...everyone complaining...well...human nature...Lunch...??..we went to Wong Kok Char Chan Teng....the picture of XO Sauce Chee Cheong Fun is good...tasty and crunchy...but my gf said that it is like "chow kuey teow"...huh??..maybe she is right coz of the XO Sauce...(seafood+fried prawn+sauce)....we also able to watch the fashion show...not really nice models...but i took some pictures and video....well..that's a hectic and dramatic day on the 1 May 2007...another day that I didn't really rest alot....but got to lay my thoughts away from work....well..tomorrow will be another holiday...so i got to rest properly...

Life is never been slow...Ageing is part of life...No doubt our age is catching on us....while sitting my girlfriend's car, I was looking out to the window...I felt that time is always not our side..We got to cherish every moment...like with family, friends, anyone we love....I guess when I looked back to my coursemates' pictures...although only 7 years after our first degree graduation, it felt like just few months.....Just to express my feeling...I think only those getting older will feel what I'm feeling now...To all my friends...I'll never forget you all....Friendship forever....

21 April was a big day ...not me..but my lecturer's son....I was totally shocked when i received the news....his son was so young...and got to married...anyway...I don't want to discuss about this...Just want to said that his son was really lucky to have a very wealthy father...my lecturer booked the putrajaya's hall just opposite Hall of Justice...the occasion was entirely gold color..In fact..he invited most of his students, ex-students, staffs in his faculty..and the VC...man..imagine that....fuuuyoooo....Some of the pictures taken at the wedding...Me and my ex-colleagues in the same laboratory...(my junior and senior)...anyway...Mr. Sim was not around...don't know whether my lecturer forgotten about him or what??...scandal...hahahaha....saw alot of people whom I knew while studying in UPM...guess it was soft of a reunion lunch ...hehehehe...

I'd been on training since Monday.....Today was the final day la....damn sian...well..i asked for it la actually....apply for the course ...train in english...effective communication...quite interesting the first few days...then......u know the story la...sleepy in the class...aiyah....well..the monday started with a terrible accident....well don't wanna talk in detail about it...my car ok...but the other person's kancil...bumper habis teruk...so i got to pay for the damage...RM160...phew...that's alot of money but i got to admit it....it's my fault....what to do...

Today...officially i'd submitted my thesis for senate approval...graduation (convocation) on course....well...it took me about more than 60 days to really come up with the thesis....working commitment really bogged me down....luckily I was able to completed my task....hehehehe....well...although i'm officially can be call as Dr. from now on...i feel that it is too weird for me...as all of my colleagues called me Dr. already....anyway...It was really a satisfaction feeling for me to complete my task....so...I will be waiting for the graduation's letter...

Well...it's my dad's birthday and the whole family celebrated for him together with my aunty and cousins...of course with my girlfriend too....having it at the restaurant at Puchong...it was packed with people still having the New Year celebration dinner...it was really crowded but luckily we booked the table earlier....trying my camera to capture every single moment and i'm satisfy with the performance of the camera....one shot here attached is the superb shot on the "yee sang", the first dish on that night......my dad was very happy and i'm happy that he is happy... :) on the way back after the dinner...i sent my girlfriend back to Kelana Jaya and we passed Sunway's toll....we saw the some fireworks near the area....and then i asked my girlfriend to take the shot....look at the picture...it was ok shot as the low light condition....the day end with everyone happy...

I'd bought a new camera...sort of compact camera....Sony DSC T-10 ......price at RM1299 with 1GB Memory Stick Pro...cool camera and really fantastic output of pictures...even for a compact camera...i'm able to capture detail pictures...tried it and captured a few pictures....

Weekend at Northern Region of Malaysia

To start with...On Friday...right after the Friday's prayer...me and my batchmates were instructed to go to Kedah campus for our expedition in Gua Gendang and Gua Itik in Pengkalan Hulu, Perak.....we were are excited for the trip....as it is the famous of it's beauty and excitement.....we reached Sg. Petani at around 9pm and stay at the hostel for the night...the following day....8pm....we were on our way to Pengkala Hulu....reaching there....we got to walk through jungle path entering the cave...river water and the darkness of the cave really excite everyone....it was very interesting experience...we got to finish the expedition without any injury.....of course the leeches thing and the mosquitoes are the things to experience in any jungle experience....but the most of all...walking in the cave..total darkness and river water gushing and knocking your body all the time are really a good experience....i would recommend that everyone to go there....but get tour guide lar....Gua Itik is known to be a cave where the defunct PKM (Parti Komunis Malaya) hide during the Emergency Time in Malaya....Most of all...the area (jungle) is still the most untouch area....really no pollution and very good air quality....river water is clear and .....well...you got to feel it yourself....although it is not as good as Taman Negara trip....but it is one of my good trip in my life....take a look of the picture I took...After 3days 2 night at the northern part of Malaysia...it's time to come back to Klang Valley with all the pollution in the area....on my way back...i got to snap this picture...paddy field before the Juru toll....it's nice to see....I think I'm gonna come back to Kedah for the "Keluarga Angkat" Program....in another 1 week...gonna update my blog hopefully....

I passed.....my PhD

before noon today...i was bombarded with questions in my viva....really a tense and terrible atmosphere in the viva room.....my presentation was excellent...they commended on it...in fact...excellent research and results obtained in my study....but....my thesis need major corrections...certain things i put in the thesis were questionable....in fact some thing or calculations also not inserted into the thesis...therefore...they asked me to rearrange some of the content in order to make it like a story book.....my abstract (BM version) need rewrite......but nevertheless....i passed my viva...and i need to do the corrections ....submit it to GSO and wait for the convo to be conferred with PhD scroll...but it was a nasty experience....i was really down....but not out...will update the blog from time to time as i need to correct my thesis and at the same time attending my training modules....damn hectic for me...i rather start work now....can't wait to start back work in my office...training was really hectic...

I just don't have the time to blog anymore....i can't find time even if i'm at home during weekends....very tired and exhausted because....of classes and being an important committee member.....i was in the police training as cadet for a week....then went to Lumut for the Outward Bound Activity....it was fun but tiring....learn alot from the outing......kayaking, rowing whaler(small boat) and camping at an island......words just unable to describe my feeling for the outing....for those who know about OBS should able to get the feel of what my feel.....kayaking was the most challenging....i kayaking alone (other people got partner)...it was due to my stamina....the trainer said that i'm good enough and i'm a lifesaver....we departed from the Lumut and travel up to the northern part of Pangkor island.....and travel south after that....imagine that the whole group able to reached the southern part of the island in less than 5 hours....with a large group that we need to take care of....it was really a successful trip....i myself amazed at my stamina of kayaking against the strong current....it was terrific feeling....we camped at the site for a night and then departed back to the school in the next morning....and again...record setting...less than an hour reached our final destination....with the strong current and raining in the ocean....we were glad that everyone were safe completing the outing....i don't have the pictures of the outing as i don't have my camera with me....but the experience will not be forgotten in my life.....

above my latest haircut (4weeks ago...) at the police training center in Cheras....hehehe....and the photo on the right was taken when we had the shooting test....my score was 78%...not bad at all....hehehehehe....

First Time.....

well....it was my first time on double decker bus....it was a good experience but really dizzy afterthat.....we got to travel from one campus to another campus....so we got transportation provided by the training center....after finished class, we got to rush back to the hostel in another hostel to have our dinner....everyone on the bus were really in jovial mood although tired....so far so good training for 2 weeks.....hope that when we go out for outdoor modules...everything will get better and smoothly....I'll be going for law enforcement training next week....and feel the pride wearing the uniform......hehehehe....will post some uniform pictures next week if got chance....

Trying to relax myself with my girlfriend after coming back from training for the week....I went to Mines Shopping Mall just now....it was not a good experience parking my car as there is a driver forcing me to park at a place that i would like to park....but everything is ok...as my gf beside me to cool me down....so we went to catch a latest movie of Johnny Depp...Pirates of the Caribbean: The Dead Man's Chest....All I can said is good movie....the movie continue from the end of the first movie....the plot and dialogues are damn good and greatly done by the scriptwriter and director....i just got one comment....we got to watch the third sequence of the movie to know what happen to Captain Jack Sparrow....please for those whom didn't watch the first movie....you should have catch it yesterday on TV3....then only you will enjoy the second part of the movie....

well...starting from 10 July 2006....until 8 January 2007....i'll be back as student....i got to go for training in PJ......for 6 months....everything are fine here....but my room is damn small...and not really that comfortable....but anyway....things started good and great as i got to meet all my batchmates .....life is great for everyone....i hope the 6 months will be as smooth and great for me too....i'll be posting when i have time....especially when i got time to come back home to use the internet.....

Well...i would like to say that the world cup this time really take my attention at all...although i'm bz with my thesis and work....and also preparation for 6 months training.....i got time to watch matches....hehehehe....i was rushing here and there for thesis submission....ok...enough of my stuff.....my comment on the world cup so far....everything is up to my expectation except for Holland....i was hoping them to advance to quarter-final...but the ball the round...right??...Brazil as usual...the best team in the world...Czech Republic...another failure...how can a 2nd ranked team couldn't advance to the quarterfinal...As for Australia....i would said...they improved alot but they are still a long way to go....Well...i agree on the match between Italy and Australia that Australia lost undeservingly...it's the referee's fault on awarding the penalty...well again...it's referee decision...For France....my favorite team ....advanced...yahoooooo....defeated Spain with 3-1....damn good...damn

It's been so long i didn't update my blog....just busy working and really rushing for my thesis...i need to submit it soon....for working life...really really not easy....ok....for the Raub trip...i went up to Raub on Sunday for my cousin's wedding dinner...she married to a Raub guy...so..me and my parents went there with a bus together with some of my relatives...damn tiring and guess what...i remember the way up coz me and my coursemates went to Jeram Besu after our BSc....guys...u all remember or not if u reading this...hehehehe...well..the journey was bumpy and we passed Bentong...and after 2.5 hours...we reached Raub and straightaway went up to the restaurant...maybe it's just me or what...the food was not as good as the standard in KL, Penang or even Ipoh....but it's a good wedding dinner atmosphere...the whole village people really "sakai"...damn making alot of noise...heheheheheafter 9.45pm...dinner ended and straightaway we were rushed to the bus (Bas Persiaran) to be on our way back to KL...damn terrible...raining all the way...but KL's view at night is really astonishing....from MRR2 near Kepong...I can see the marvellous view...Mr. Suker...you should see it ..nice to take photo..but i don't have a camera with me...so end up...can't capture it....reached home around 1.35am......

As sunday usually a day for outing....I begin my day with taking picture of the sky...a nice blue sky...just in front of my house....I think it should be a good day for outing...hehehe....I went to pick up my gf and we went to Time Square....there our shopping spree begin....hehehe...actually we went to eat at Sushi King...the usual cuisine...Fried squid..was on our order....I ordered sort of chicken rice la...ohhh....I bought her a Motorola Razr V3i...cool phone...with maroon metallic color...make her look more cool..and beautiful with the phone...hehehehe...she bought me a Guess watch which she wanted buy for me ages ago...as I'd been saying no all the while...don't want to waste her money mah...but yesterday...she bought it....well...it's a great watch...I like it too.. :)

Dumpling Festival

Well...it's another festival that Chinese celebrate....from stories of old folks...we end up celebrating the festival....the Dumpling Festival which always fall on the 5th day of the 5th month of Chinese lunar calendar.....my mom have been making those rice dumpling for the day....i think it is not wise for her to do that as she is old oredi....i told her not to make but just buy it from stalls....yesterday was just another day...we all eat on the table as my mom prepared few dishes that satisfy our stomach.....fried chicken was one of the dishes.....well...more and more i feel that i'm older each day....yesterday was also bad day for me coz my tyre was punctured by a nail....just can't believe it coz i was driving back to office....don't want to talk more on that....spoiling my mood only.....

juz concluded league of malaysia....the performance was damn terrible...as i was young...i enjoy watching malaysia league and their national team....as after the scandals in the early 1990s....everything change....just take a look at the league...Selangor suppose to be the giant of the league...end up...like peanut...I juz don't understand the performance can drop like bird shit...piaaakkkk!!!....this make me watch English Premier League more often than our own Super "Lousy" League.....

well...it's official...Taylor Hicks...is the new American Idol....well..i watched the contest yesterday nite and i would prefer him to win becoz of the performance by the other contestant, Katharine McPhee.....actually both of them sing terribly as compared to Kelly Clarkson (former American Idol)....but we got to pick a winner between the two...so Taylor Hicks got my vote...but anyway...I'm not in US...so i can't cast my vote lor...hahahaha...anyway...lets see whether he can shine in the music industry.....

These days...All those telcos juz trying to fight each others...from prepaid war to postpaid war....business package, family package and normal package also got....the latest war is between Celcom and Digi which both offer new interesting packages.....Maxis really lose out here...anyway...I'm Celcom and Digi user ... :) When i saw the website by Digi...really amazed with the latest package which you have free airtime after RM123....not bad...encourage people to use DiGi somemore...maybe I will change my prepaid to postpaid...but I got to wait and see if the package really that good....

Ohhh gosh!!!...I'm late for work today....all becoz of people on the road really like to mind other people business.....imagine this...a Waja and a van got accident at the fast lane....then the road still wide enough for 4 lanes of cars....but...still got traffic jam....juz dunno why those Malaysian so "caring" ah??.....luckily i late only 5 minutes...but late is late...there is no excuse of late 1 minute or 1 second....I'm still late....on the way before coming to the traffic jam....the song titled "Bad day" was on air (Hitz.FM station as i like to listen to Rudy and JJ's pranks) ...i didn't anticipate it to be really bad for a start of the day...really fed up......but still got to start work also...

It was on Sunday that the competition came to an end....it was MMU...the champion of the competition because of technical error by opponent...well..nevertheless...it was a very good competition for all the students....but still...i think they still need to do more on the research of robotics....we are still far back compare with the developed countries....

I was sick since Wednesday...went to pay a visit to the doctor at my university's medical centre....i was diagnosed with high fever and serious flu...whoooaaahhh...wait a minute...not bird flu ah....just normal flu...but really made me weak for the day...i ask for MC...and the doctor approved it becoz that I might infect other staff in the office....actually i got infected from my staff...whatever....so i got MC on Thursday and come to work today (Friday)...wah lau...so many work pending on my table...although i'm still weak...but got to finish off my work...

Last friday when i went to cyberjaya to fetch my brother....while waiting there at the parking lot....and playing around with my PDA phone...i noticed some smokes....infront of my car...then i was shocked at first...then....ceeeehhhhh....it's the bladdy people spraying those smoke to prevent mosquitoes....ciss..making my heart beat fast for a while...hahahaha....

this morning got to prepare meeting for my boss....about 14 persons came to the meeting....and guess what??...i got shot down....got one person from an agency...he sort of lansi lan yeong...i gave my idea to all the people...and he macam want to show off...damn it...as i'm an officer...i got to take it in a proper manner.....that was when my boss not around...(went out to see top boss)...and when he came back...he mentioned the idea to the meeting...guess what....that guy macam buat tak tau....accept my boss idea...(in fact, i told my boss before that)....i can see double standard lor...treat my boss macam king...me macam lousy officer....maybe because he thought that he got phd...he can lansi infront of me...fed-up with this guy....somemore...he used to work oversea (UK) for several years...can show off in front of me lor...damn him....

I have been delayed by my lecturer on my PhD thesis....damn it....just how long would he go thorugh the thesis....2 years????....At first thought going to see him this afternoon....damn...he replied.."NO, how about 5pm OK? in his SMS....well...how would in the world that i reach there at 5pm...HELLOOOOO...I got to work also ...i just replied him 5.30pm...hope that he won't delay my thesis again with correction again...i have been doing it since August 2005...imagine it...i'm correcting his corrections all the time...does this make sense???...so many freaking months delayed...i should have my viva this few months if he let me submit for viva....i just want to finish early and move along with my life...hope that he understand....i just don't want to pay RM1800+ for a semester just for a thesis to be done...wasting my money only....pray pray that he will let me submit this time...but i doubt about it...i know him too well....DAMN IT.....***just to release my feeling out...sorry for those who read this...please ignore it...hehehehe....

Repairing Kancil....

Yesterday....i took one day off....to accompany my gf to fix her kancil...engine oil indicator was turn on the day we came back from ipoh...as we don't want to spoil the engine which is just 2 years old.....better send it to the authorised service centre....as we arrived there....we just asked them to check it out...and both of off to Mid Valley...hehehe...we shopped and eat laksa for lunch...damn nice the laksa....and around 3.30pm...we went to pick up back the car....they said...nothing wrong...and advised us...if the indicator turn on again...send back to them...in my mind...i think...by the time...it's too late....really worry for my gf.....but what to do...the expert said...No Problem!!!....

Today most of the people thought will be a relaxing day as it is the final working of the week....not for me...i got to stay for meeting till 6.45pm....then i got to do some paperwork .....really tough....anyway...nothing unusual...same busy day...next week will be another busy day for me.....never expect that working in the civil service will be as tough as in the private sector...tomorrow i'm gonna go ipoh to accompany my gf back to her hometown....if anything interesting...i will post some of it here...till then....

yesterday....my gf and I went to MidValley...really nice going there without having to find parking space miserably...it was just smooth sailing experience for me and my gf....as usual...shopping...looking around with the clothes....etc...the girl stuff u know...ok...dinner time...we made our decision to enter this noodle restaurant...(i won't name it here...it's for you to find out).....we sit in a cozy sofa...wahhh..nice settings.....then we order 2 dishes....everything's fine...then our first dish arrived....wahhh...taste nice...can't wait to try the second dish...(a chilled meat dish)..so we wait and wait and wait and wait....ok...we waited for 20 minutes...nothing....then those waitresses...just presume like nothing happen...come on...i pay for you service you know...really fed-up...i called up the trainee captain...i told her...if my 2nd dish not out yet...i'm gonna cancel it...she looked blank...quickly she run to the kitchen...then the manager came out and apologise...sorry..we forgot...WHAT!!!! YOU FORGOT!!!?????....come on...you people looked so professional and you tell me you FORGOT!!!!...i told him i'm gonna cancel order if the 2nd dish is slow...so the manager said...oohhh...no...it's gonna fast...can you wait...??..so..i told him i want it fast....finally we able to taste the 2nd dish...it was nice but the whole situation make me feel bad...if they gonna get famous...they should be careful of their service...anyway...i pay for their service...KANASAI!!!
